A couple of guys from the Wyoming contingent picked up some money in the 2nd round of the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas on Friday night. Brody Cress who attended Cheyenne East High School took 4th in the 2nd round of the saddle bronc with a 78 so that earned him $11,000.00. Cress is currently 6th in the world standings and 2nd in the NFR average.

Former Sheridan College cowboy Zeke Thurston had a no score in the saddle bronc on Friday but he is 2nd in the world standings so far and 4th in the average. In the bareback, former Central Wyoming College competitor Ty Breuer earned an 87.5 on Friday which was good enough for 4th in the round and a check for $8,884.81. He is 10th in the world standings of the bareback and 6th in the average.

In the team roping, Ty Blasingame who has been calling Casper home had a 5 flat with partner Travis Lee Graves and was out of the money for the 2nd straight night. Blasingame is 6th in the world standings and 4th in the average. Riley Pruitt, who rodeoed at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington had a 13 and 6 in the tie-down
