Welcome back to going to see concerts, here in 2021. The music legend, Van Morrison, is making Colorado his first U.S. stop on his world tour.

Van Morrison is setting out on June 25, 2021, on a world tour that starts in Liverpool and is headed our way.

Van Morrison will perform Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Fiddler's Green as the first U.S. stop on the tour.

The singer-songwriter from Ireland is technically known as Sir Van Morrison after being knighted by the Prince of Wales in 2016.

His 1967 'Brown-Eyed Girl', made after his band Them broke up, has become Van's signature song; a song which many stations at the time wouldn't air until a version without the lyric: 'making love on the green grass' was released. My, how times have changed.

To hear the man's soulful voice live has to be a phenomenal experience. I'd love to hear him sing 'Have I Told You Lately,'  'Wild Nights,' 'Moondance,' and of course, 'Into the Mystic.'

The weather will be warm, the people will be awesome, the night will be magical with Sir Van Morrison.

It's nice to have Fiddler's Green Amphitheater know as 'Fiddler's Green' again after years of the naming rights having gone to Comfort Dental and Coors Light.

Tickets for Van Morrison with Taj Mahal officially go on sale on June 18, 2021, at 10 am. RETRO 102.5 has your Pre-Sale Code to use on June 17, 2021, between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. - that code is MOONDANCE.
