31 jumpers bared the frigged temperatures on Saturday, March 9th at Lions Park.

The jumpers jumped in the frozen lake to raise money for Special Olympics Wyoming.  The money goes towards, equipment, event fees, travel, and more.  There were either groups of people, like Murdoch's, who came together and dressed like pirates for the jump.  Or individuals who just wanted to raise money and jump for a good cause.  A total of $5,254.00 was raised at this event and the Special Olympics Wyoming.

The Jackalope Jump took place at Lions Park.  Individuals who jumped had to raise $100, or teams of five had to raise $50 a piece.  Thank you to our fire department who was on hand to make sure everyone was safe and got out of the water just fine.

Like everyone at the event said, "Freezin for a Reason."
