When their country called, the Wyoming Army National Guard answered with their service in Kuwait, where they supported an aviation wing in Afghanistan.

After deployment in June of 2016, the soldiers return to North America, their families and friends and a grateful nation.

A Freedom Salute Ceremony is planned for 9 a.m., Sept. 9 at Laramie County Community College’s Pathfinder Building to welcome home Wyoming Army National Guard soldiers from Detachment 3, B Battery, 777 Aviation Support Battalion, who recently returned from a deployment to Kuwait.

The thirty returning soldiers come from many states and the Wyoming communities of Casper, Cheyenne, Gillette, Laramie, and Lovell.

Thank you for your service and thank you to their families for your sacrifice.
