Where to Find the Best Corned Beef + Cabbage in Cheyenne
It's just not St. Patrick's Day without some traditional dishes.
We've got another holiday rapidly approaching this month. Much like many other holidays, this one includes traditional dishes and festive libations. This one just happens to feature food and drink in a fun color. Who's ready for green beer?
When I think of St. Patrick's Day, I think about my mother making corned beef and cabbage each year. I remember stuffing myself with this meal and entering into a food coma. I'm not sure if it goes against the "luck of the Irish", but I would always smother mine in spicy mustard.
And I can't wait to indulge this year. After losing my mom earlier this year, I think the craving for one of her signature dishes is much greater. She was always so good at making holidays and meals special.
With that being said, I took a look at the top places to get corned beef and cabbage in our area. According to Yelp, there are several places to get your Irish fix in Cheyenne, Laramie and, if you're really dedicated, Fort Collins, CO. Perhaps we could do a tour of corned beef and cabbage offerings throughout the month.
