WYDOT Engineers have expedited the design process to meet on March 10 bid letting deadline. When the bid has been awarded to a contractor, the work will begin as soon as possible to repair the structure so that they may open the exit 316 off ramp.
The work will primarily focus on the bridge column underneath the bridge surface, which will mean that the interior lanes adjacent to the column will be closed during the project.
Motorists are to be prepared for delays, especially during morning and evening commutes.
The eastbound exit ramp from I-80 will also be closed during the repair.
The estimated finish time is early summer.
