Two weeks into winter and three days into 2018, your pants are fitting too tight and you might be ready for some exercise and fun. Why not get outside?

There are plenty of great days to explore Wyoming in winter. Snowmobiling, Snowshoeing, Snowboarding, Cross Country and or Downhill Skiing give you the chance to get out and into the beauty of Wyoming that draws people from around the world. A prime example is Jackson Hole, which is always VERY high on national and international resort rankings lists and can easily hold it’s own against Zeratt or Whistler. And lucky you, Jackson Hole Ski Resort is right in your backyard with 84 of 133 runs open for early season skiing.

There are seven other areas to choose from that are more affordable and still fun. Listen closely and you can hear The Top-5 calling.

Our poll showed a very narrow margin of people favors Snowboarding over Downhill Skiing. Check the LATEST CONDITIONS.

For those who enjoy Cross-Country Skiing, You live in the right place. Snowy Range backcountry conditions are very good with a three-foot base, packed down by the Christmas crowd.

You can also check into Chimney Park Nordic and Pole Mountain/Happy Jack Recreation Area. Yellowstone is always an awesome (in the true sense of the word) option.

This list could get very long, especially if you want to include Snow Shoeing and Snowmobiling.

Choose one or choose all, you’re in Wyoming, GET OUT!
