The Wyoming Department of Health reported Tuesday that 23 more residents have died from COVID-19, including five older adult men and two older adult women from Laramie County.

Agency spokeswoman Kim Deti says the deaths also involved residents from Big Horn, Campbell, Converse, Crook, Fremont, Goshen, Natrona, Park, Sheridan, Sweetwater and Teton counties.

Deti says 15 of the individuals were hospitalized, and six of the 23 lived in long-term care facilities.

Among Wyoming residents, there have now been 647 coronavirus-related deaths, 45,056 lab-confirmed cases and 7,774 probable cases reported since the pandemic began. Of those cases, 43,863 lab-confirmed cases and 7,523 probable cases have recovered.
