Do you know any fourth or fifth grade artists?

The deadline to submit artwork for the annual Wyoming State Arbor Day poster contest is Friday, March 28.

The contest is open to all Wyoming fourth and fifth grade students. They are asked to create a poster, no larger than 14 by 18 inches, that depicts the theme 'Three Cheers for Trees!'

The winning artist will receive $100, a framed poster of their artwork and an invitation to the State Arbor Day Celebration in Cheyenne. The winner's teacher will also receive $100. The second place artist will receive $50 plus their framed poster.

Wyoming celebrates it's 126th Arbor Day on Monday, April 28.

The poster contest is sponsored by the Wyoming State Division of Forestry and Wyoming Project Learning Tree.
