Wyoming’s Coolest Christmas Tradition: Skiing With Santa
Every year, after Santa delivers toys to good boys and girls around the world, he flies the sleigh back to Wyoming and hits the slopes.
Santa's annual ritual was honored in a recent MSN list ranking the "Most Unusual Holiday Traditions In Every State". Their pick for Wyoming's oddest Christmas custom is the Skiing with Santa event at Jackson Hole.
Skiing with Santa has been a popular holiday celebration at the resort for several years. Jackson Hole has even released their own version of "A Christmas Story" to commemorate the experience.
"Twas the night before Christmas in Santa's workshop and the elves were busily working around the clock. While visions of snow danced in their head thoughts of the tram made them want to shred," the story begins.
