Today, Double Dub's seeks to break the world record for the number of chicken wings sold in 24 hours. The food truck is slinging wings at lightning speed in front of Cheyenne's Freedom's Edge Brewing (1509 Pioneer Ave.) And, like the #Bosses that they are, they've already crushed one world record throughout their epic journey.

Early this morning (July 29), Double Dub's confirmed via social media that they've shattered the 8-hour world record for wings sold over a single table, serving up a mind-blowing 28,048 wings. The previous Guinness World record was 23,046 wings sold in the eight-hour time frame, earned by Xin Bai Lu of Hangzhou, China, on September 19, 2021.

But the team at Weitzel's Wings isn't done yet - and they need YOUR help to achieve the ultimate goal of most chicken wings sold in 24 hours. We have until 1 p.m. today to help Double Dub's make history!

How Many Wings Do Double Dubs Need to Sell Today?

According to Double Dub's, the food truck must fry and serve more than 42,216 wings to beat the current world record. Weitzel's wants to break even on the event - this is for glory, not for profit! You can get 25 wings for $20 from the food truck in one of two flavors: BBQ or their WWI Buffalo Base sauce.
