Wyoming’s Josh Dorr Calls Home Before Coming Home
Josh Dorr is excited to open for Kip Moore at Cowboy Kick-Off and Pep Rally Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, fulfilling his dream to play at War Memorial Stadium.
Wednesday Josh chatted with us on the morning show about having been to games in Laramie. In fact, he was on campus for one whole semester. So he got to see a few then, but he also got to see games growing up. His family would travel down to watch the Pokes from time to time.
Like most boys growing up in the Cowboy state, he wanted to play for the Pokes since he was a kid. But high school football was tough on his body and after injuries, he decided to follow his "crazy" idea about an internship in Nashville to pursue a different dream.
Now he still gets to play at War Memorial Stadium, just with his band.
