Ever race a lawn mower?

Some good home-town fun's coming up tomorrow in eastern Laramie County, it's the 84th Annual Albin Day on Saturday, July 14.

It starts at 8 a.m., and the festivities include lawnmower races!

Albin Day has fun for all ages. The day kicks off with a pancake breakfast at Caboose Park at 8:00 a.m. followed by parades, races, a bake sale, an arts & craft fair, lawn mower races, water fights, bingo, bouncy castles, food, a dessert social, a softball tournament, horseshoe tournament, stick horse rodeo, and a night show.

Albin Day wraps up in the evening with a free dance in the Community Center parking lot.

The town of Albin is just north of Pine Bluffs on the Wyoming/Nebraska border. You can get there from Cheyenne by taking US 85 north to Highway 216 east or head east on Interstate 80 to Pine Bluffs and drive north on Highway 215.
