Laramie County voters only have a few weeks left to request an absentee ballot for the November 7 Laramie County Community College bond election.

County Clerk Debra Lee says her office has sent out just over 700 absentee ballots thus far, but it's too early to tell whether the special election will gather a lot of interest.

"It's hard to tell," said Lee. "In the 2013 election we did have the atrium voting going on which we do not have for this election."

"In the city administrator's election we did not have the atrium and I think it's probably comparable, but we won't know until all the votes are cast on November 7," Lee added.

LCCC is seeking a $29.5 million bond which would go toward a number of repairs, renovations and expansions at the college.
