Cheyenne Animal Control rescued 53 dogs from an animal hoarder Friday afternoon. 

Cheyenne Animal Shelter Director Bob Fecht said after receiving tips about the whereabouts of Kimi Peck and the dogs she was transporting in a fifth wheel trailer,  Animal Control officers were dispatched to the Frontier Veterinary Clinic where they found Peck and the dogs.

Fecht says Peck was at the clinic having at least 30 of the dogs vaccinated for rabies. Peck voluntarily surrended 53 of the dogs, she was allowed to keep four.

Peck was cited by Animal Control in Cheyenne on April 22nd for 55 counts of of not having the required rabies certifications.

The Cheyenne Animal Shelter is taking the dogs and are in need of donations of food and money to care for the dogs until they are placed in homes.
