February 13: Thankful Thursday for Julie’s Closet

Steve Cooper, Townsquare Media

Meet Annette, who’s standing along side of Alf, former owner of the Redwood Lounge but still heavily involved in several “lounge” events.  Annette is an extraordinary lady who came into our studio to talk about “Julie’s Closet,” an extraordinary organization that provides clothing for women who are trying to get back into the workforce. You have an opportunity to help this organization, AND get a shot to win $500 dollars, all with Thankful Thursday THIS Thursday at the Redwood Lounge!

“Julie’s Closet” is a non-profit organization geared at helping women get back on their feet, by donating professional clothing so that they can get back out in the job force and find a job!

THIS Thursday night, you can help this wonderful organization with Thankful Thursday at the Redwood Lounge on East Lincolnway! There’s drink specials from Coors and Coors Light, along with great auction items, plus three chances to win $500 dollars that’s tucked away in one of 96 Coors Light aluminum bottles. And it doesn’t cost anything to get in! Just come into the Redwood Lounge, and you’ll get a wrist band with a number on it, and if we draw your number, you get a shot at picking one of those 96 bottles for that shot at $500 dollars.

And don’t forget about the “Central Bank and Trust Thankful Thursday Word of the Week!”  Just stop by Central Bank and Trust at 3060 East Lincolnway, just down the street from the Redwood Lounge, and ask for the word of the week.  They’ll give you a card with that word. If your number is drawn and you have that card with you, you could win $150 dollars. And make sure you bring your appetite, because Justin from LCCC will be on hand, selling all sorts of great grub with the proceeds benefitting Julie’s Closet!

SPECIAL ALERT: Julie’s Closet needs a new home!  A local church has donated space for Julie’s Closet, but now the need is so great, they need a bigger place for their organization. They’re looking for anyone who might have a building that they would be willing to donate to help them keep this wonderful organization going!  If you have such a space, please give us a call either on our 106-3 Cowboy Country Studio line at 307-633-2600, or on our 101-9 KING FM studio line at 307-778-8800, and we’ll get you in touch with them!

Lots of fun, food AND a shot at $500 dollars AND a shot at making some bank, all THIS Thursday night at the Redwood Lounge, 2105 East Lincolnway, in Cheyenne!  We’ll see you there THIS Thursday night!
