Are you an art lover?

Whether you like to create art or just enjoy looking at it, there's something for you at the Laramie County Library.

The 14th annual RSVP Art Fest continues through December 12 on all 3 floors of the library at 2200 Pioneer Avenue in Cheyenne.The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program Art Fest displays works from artists around our community who are 50 and older. The Art Fest includes a variety of media and some works of art are being sold.

A reception is planned for Saturday, November 17, between 4 and 5 p.m. and workshops will also be held this weekend.

Daniel 'Doc' Thissen will present a photography workshop called 'Responding to the Muse Within' on Saturday from 12:30 until 3 p.m. And on Sunday, November 18, Christopher Amend will conduct a painting workshop, 'Where does inspiration come from?,' 1:30 to 4 p.m. Registration is required for both workshops by calling 634-3561.
