David Lee Roth Addresses Rumors of Van Halen Super Bowl Halftime Show
There have been rumblings that Van Halen might be playing the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show. In a USA Today interview last month, Eddie Van Halen said, “So in November, we’ll hit Japan, and in the new year, we’ll possibly do something special, but I can’t talk about it.” Could that ‘something special’ be the Super Bowl halftime show?
Van Halen’s Postponed Summer 2012 Tour Dates Officially Canceled
After Van Halen postponed 30 plus shows that were to begin July 7, those shows now apparently won’t be rescheduled and have been officially canceled. Slash is busy making music and producing movies, and now will also be the subject of an upcoming documentary. A two disc, 131 minute documentary ‘Slash – The Cat In The Hat: The Story So Far’ will be released on Blu-ray / DVD on Aug. 21.
AC/DC Exhibition To Open at Seattle’s Experience Music Project Museum
An exhibition of AC/DC artifacts called ‘AC/DC: Australia’s Family Jewels’ opens Saturday (April 28) at Experience Music Project Museum in Seattle. The collection, developed in association with AC/DC, made its debut at Arts Centre Melbourne in Australia in the fall of 2009.
