Here it is the end of April already, baseball season's in full swing so on 'Your Sunday Brunch' we're featuring a ball park themed 'Album Side Sunday.'
We have an influencial singer/songwriter's birthday to celebrate, we'll jump back 'Under The Covers' with an Atlanta band doing a Swinging Blue Jeans' song and we salute Heroes Only Comics and Games.

John Fogerty ‘Centerfield’ is Our April 2012 ‘Album Side Sunday’
Are you excited baseball season is back?
On 'Your Sunday Brunch' we're celebrating baseball and the end of April with our 'Album Side Sunday,' John Fogerty's 'Centerfield.'
This was John Fogerty's first album in nine years and his third solo effort after leaving Creedence Clearwater Revival.
His first solo albums didn't sell well but in 1985 'Centerfield' went to number one on the U.S. charts.

Sin City is a mecca for entertainers, but one of the best shows I've seen there wasn't at a casino or theater, it was a concert at the UNLV football stadium.
The Grateful Dead played the Sam Boyd Silver Bowl on the last weekend of April in 1991.

But what's the fun of that. We would wake up early on Saturday and make a bowl of cereal to take to the living room and sit in front of the TV for hours smiling and laughing.

Denver Broncos’ Safety Brian Dawkins Announces Retirement
Who's the hardest hitting safety in the NFL?
Your answer could be a player from the Denver Broncos, Champ Bailey has been to 11 Pro Bowls and Safety Brian Dawkins has been chosen for nine.
On Monday morning, Dawkins announced his retirement on Twitter. At the age of 38, he leaves the National Football League having played the Safety position longer than anyone.
Dawkins has played the last three years for the Broncos, before that he was with the Philadelphia Eagles for 13 years.
Colorado Rockies to Play Double Header Due to East Coast Weather
Todd Helton 2012 (Mike McGinnis/Getty)The wet weather along the East Coast knocked out power to thousands, broke many tree limbs and postponed the Rockies and Pirates baseball game.
Colorado and Pittsburgh will now play a double header on Tuesday at PNC Park. The Rockies are 8-7 so far this season, coming off a victory over the Brewers in Milwaukee on Sunday.
World Book Night Celebrates Reading and Books Tonight
Do you love to read? if you do, tonight's World Book Night celebrations might be something you won't want to miss.
Thousands of cities around the globe are participating in the second annual World Book Night, approximately 2.5 million free books are expected to be donated.
World Book Night is an annual celebration designed to spread a love of reading and books. It's being held in the U.S. as well as the U.K. and Ireland on April 23, 2012. It will see tens of thousands of people go out into their communities to spread the joy and love of reading by giving out free World Book Night paperbacks. Link to their Facebook page here.
