A few years ago, Mark James and his bride were cruising around Sinks Canyon (Lander), when they apparently ticked off the wrong ram.

According to the follow up video (posted below):

This is a tribute to the Bighorn Sheep who came to be known as "Bam Bam" who recently passed away. This 2nd video was taken on the afternoon of my 1st and only encounter with Bam Bam. After posting my original video in May of 2009, Bam Bam became rather famous as the video went viral. The footage has been featured on numerous TV shows around the world including National Geographic in the US & UK, World's Wildest Vacation Videos in Hollywood, Bloopers and more. The video was taken with a cheapie point 'n shoot camera so the quality is not great but the encounter captured is actually quite amazing. I hope you enjoy Part II of Bighorn vs. Toyota 4Runner.

While getting attacked by a wild animal is not my idea of a good time, I would have been more than happy to get a few photos of Bam Bam trashing my junker. At the very least, it would have made a great story to tell my grand-kids:

"You know, back in my day, we were more worried about sheep killing us than some punk with a gun"

Maybe this is why people think we're all crazy for living in Wyoming - which just leaves more room for us!
