KING’s December ‘Album Side Sunday’ Features Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Wrecking Ball’

What was your favorite new album release of 2012?

We've made it to the last weekend of the year and that means we'll be playing half of an album in the 8 o'clock hour of 'Your Sunday Brunch.'

One of my favorite albums this year was Bruce Springsteen's 'Wrecking Ball' released in March. Rolling Stone magazine named it the Best Album of 2012 and it's nominated for a Best Rock Album Grammy Award in February.

The opening track, 'We Take Care of our Own,' is also nominated for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance Grammy Awards.

This Friday, December 21, several Cheyenne bars are hosting parties to celebrate the end of the Mayan calendar.

Local band, Avenue, plays at the 'End of the World as We Know it Party' from 7 to 10 on Friday night at the American Legion Post 6, 2001 East Lincolnway.
