Summer vacation's almost over, where have your adventures taken you this year? One of the first assignments when school begins is to write about what you did during your summer vacation. We're giving you a head start, tell us where you've gone and what fun things you've been doing.

The Daddy of 'Em All took the night shows up a notch with a mix of nostalgia and cross-over country when Joan Jett and Kid Rock took the stage on Friday night.

I haven't played a carnival game since I was a kid. But even in 20 years, I can still remember the rush of trying to win, handing over cash to try again, and walking around whatever carnival grounds clutching a cheap stuffed animal in my arms.

In the month leading up to Cheyenne Frontier Days, Townsquare Media Cheyenne, Laramie and Casper held an Arctic Cat key contest---one lucky winner from each location would receive a key to a bright green Wildcat Trail XT.

They do more than just hold up your britches. Belt buckles are identifiers for cowboys--trophies, awards, symbols of pride and expertise. They're qualifications. And at the Daddy of 'Em All, each cowboy has something on display.

The best variety in western footwear was seen at Cheyenne Frontier Days this year. cowboy boots, moccasins, motorcycle boots...black, brown, pink, stitched, painted, fringed, and more.

So far, Cheyenne Frontier Days has had a star-studded line-up for the night shows: John Mellencamp. Lady Antebellum. Carlene Carter. Clay Walker. Championship Professional Bull Riders.

Day two of Championship Bull Riding brought back champions from around the world for another opportunity to make top marks. At the end of the night, more than $500,000 was paid to riders, teams and owners.

Just outside Portal 11 of Frontier Park lies the Old Frontier Town. If you weren't headed toward the northern end of the grounds, then you'd likely miss it. But with the authentic western wares, games and petting zoo for children, and a chance to meet folks from the chuck wagons, you'll want to make a stop.

Champion bull riders from around the world have been competing for a full year to qualify for the Championship Bull Riding event at Cheyenne Frontier Days. Day One on Monday, July 21 started the competition---with everyone hoping to win the grand prize $100,000.
