Black Dog Animal Rescue [BDAR] has been chosen as one of five Wyoming success stories to be featured at next month's 2017 Governor's Business Forum.

BDAR was founded almost ten years ago in Cheyenne. It has since become the state's largest animal rescue operation. pioneering the use of volunteer households to keep rescued animals.

Four other Wyoming success stories will also be recognized at the forum. They include Silicon Couloir of Jackson; Silver Spur Ranches of Encampment; Wyoming Machinery Company, which started in Casper in 1969; and Wyoming Sugar Company, which is owned by sugar beet growers from Washakie, Big Horn and Fremont Counties.

The forum is scheduled for Nov.7-9 at Little America Hotel and Resort in Cheyenne.
