It was a cold Friday night at Okie Blanchard Stadium, but the home team kept their fans warm with a convincing win over their cross town rivals.

Congratulations to the East High Thunderbirds, they defeated the Central Indians 45 to 6 and will travel to Casper to face the Natrona Mustangs next week in the 4A High School Football playoffs.

Natrona beat Rock Springs 54 to 7 to move on in the playoffs.

Also on Friday, the East Lady T-Birds claimed the State 4A Swimming Championship. Congratulations! What a day for Cheyenne's East High School.

On Saturday, October 27, the Capitol City rivalry continues at the Casper Events Center as Central plays East in the 4A Volleyball Championship game at 3:30 p.m.
