Did your favorite Cheyenne high school football team win Friday?

Only one Cheyenne high school football team was at home for this sixth week of the season and just one of the three teams scored a victory.

Cheyenne Central High School was hosting the #2 ranked team in the state at Riske Field on Friday, October 9, but the home field advantage didn't seem to help. The Indians lost to the Sheridan Broncs 66-21.

South High School traveled to Casper to face the #3 ranked team in Wyoming. The Casper Natrona Mustangs came out on top 41-8 over the South Bison.

The only Cheyenne team to get a win was the #5-ranked East Thunderbirds. East High School had the short trip over the summit to play Laramie and the T-Birds defeated the Plainsmen 35-13.
