Cheyenne Regional Medical Center has been recognized with a national award for excellence in information technology with a national award.

The "Healthcare's Most Wired" survey is conducted each year by the "Hospitals&Health Networks" organization as well as the American Hospital Association (AHA). The survey looks at how hospitals are using information technology (IT) to improve hospital performance and health care.

There are four focus areas for the award: infrastructure; business and administrative management; clinical quality and safety: and clinical integration. Hospitals have to meet standards in all four areas to be recognized with ''Most Wired' status.

This is the fourth straight year CRMC has been recognized with the award.
