Cheyenne Leaf Pickup Day Is November 22

The City of Cheyenne Solid Waste Division has announced a city-wide leaf pickup day for Saturday, November 22.

Residents who want their leaves picked up must have them in bags at their front curb that morning by 6:30. The city landfill no longer accepts yard waste, including grass or leaves.

Those items will be accepted at the Compost Facility at 3714 Windmill Road. That facility is open the following hours in November:

• Sunday             Closed
• Monday            10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Tuesday            7 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
• Wednesday       10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Thursday          10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Friday               10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Saturday           10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
