Cheyenne Light Adds Electric Cars To Fleet

Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power has begun a pilot project which includes integrating two Chevrolet Volt electric vehicles into its fleet.

Donna Beaman, Manager of Energy Services for Cheyenne Light,  says by including the vehicles in the fleet, Cheyenne Light will better be able to understand first-hand what customers will experience and begin planning now for the electricity needs of customers.

The utility will give customers a chance to test drive the cars on Wednesday May 23rd from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the southwest parking lot at Little America. She says company  representatives will be on hand to discuss how the vehicles work.
