A 35-year-old Cheyenne man could face up to 33 years in prison after police say they found 50.6 grams of methamphetamine in his stolen SUV.

According to an affidavit, Eric J. Ream, Jr. was arrested on May 13 after officers responding to a "suspicious circumstance" at the My Place Hotel saw him get out of a stolen Honda CR-V and into another vehicle.

When officers confronted Ream, he became uncooperative and they had to take him to the ground.

Ream reportedly told police that he stole the SUV from a dealership in Fort Collins about four months prior. He also admitted to having methamphetamine in the SUV.

Ream is charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest and third offense possession of a controlled substance.

Court records indicate Ream was convicted in Laramie County Circuit Court in October 2003 for possession of a controlled substance, in March 2006 for possession of marijuana and in November 2010 for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

Ream is currently being held in the Laramie County jail on a $5,000 cash bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 25 at 1:30 p.m.
