Are you ready to 'rock out' this weekend?

It's time for the Cheyenne Mineral and Gem Society's annual rock show on Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 19, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Archer Complex.The Mineral, Gem and Fossil Show includes exhibits of jewelry, petrified wood, beads and fluorescent and New Zealand minerals.

There will also be demonstrations on rock sphere making, faceting and gold panning as well as a silent auction and grab bags.

The cost is $3 for adults and children 12 and under get in free with the purchase of an adult ticket.

The new location this year is in Building M at the Archer Complex, 6 miles east of Cheyenne on Interstate 80 at Exit 370.
