The Cheyenne Police Department has identified the suspect of a robbery Saturday morning at Medicap Pharmacy at 1947 Bluegrass Circle.

Police say 30 year old Nathan Mundt, of Cheyenne, was shot while he allegedly used a gun to rob the pharmacy.

Mundt entered the pharmacy wearing a black face mask, pointed a black handgun at employees, and demanded Percocet and Oxycodone. Pharmacist 42 year old Jackson Quick, of Cheyenne, shot Mundt one time in the chest with a Taurus Judge revolver.

The gun Mundt was waiving was later found to be an airsoft pistol with the orange tip taken off. Mundt was transported to the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center by ambulance.

Cheyenne Police Detectives are completing an arrest affidavit for Mundt, which includes the elements of aggravated robbery, which will be sent to the District Attorney’s Office.

The Cheyenne Police Department is not recommending any charges against Quick.

This case remains under investigation by Cheyenne Police Detectives.
