The Cheyenne Police Department is offering it’s Citizen’s Police Academy course starting March 14th, according to spokesman Sgt. Rob Dafoe. He says the course is a concise version of the training police officers receive,  covering topics ranging from processing a crime scene to narcotics investigation. The course is free, but Dafoe says participants must pass a background check and possess a drivers license. More information and registration is available at cheyennepd.org. The course begins March 14th.
