Have you participated in Zombiefest in downtown Cheyenne?

The third annual Zombiefest infects Cheyenne on Saturday, September 21, including the Zombie walk at 11 a.m., a film festival and wraps up with the Zombie Prom and Cadaver Cotillion dance party.If you need help with make up ideas, a gore make-up workshop presented by Life of The Party is being held at the Atlas Theatre on Thursday, September 19, until 10 p.m. Admission is by donation at the door and you'll get all kinds of Halloween ideas and a chance to purchase make-up if you need some.

A screening of 'Dawn of the Dead' with actor Ken Foree, who plays Peter Washington in the 1978 film, rolls at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 20, with dinner also being served. The cost is $20.

Registration for the Zombie walk begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday at the Atlas Theatre, 211 West Lincolnway. For a pledge of $20 you receive a Zombiefest T-shirt and a $5 coupon for another event. The Zombie walk begins at 11 a.m. at the Atlas Theatre.

Other events on Saturday, September 21, include a Brain-eating Contest at the Atlas Theatre for $5 starting at noon, an Indie Film Festival at 4 p.m. for only $3 and a Thriller dance performance on the Depot Plaza about 5:45 p.m.

Zombie Prom will be held at the Knights of Pythias, 312 and a half West 17th Street, at 9 p.m. Tickets are $5 in advance, $8 at the door. A zombie makeover is also available at the door for $10.

For those undead over 21 years old, a Cadaver Cotillion dance party starts at The Drunken Skunk, 1617 Capitol Avenue, at 9 p.m. with a $5 cover charge.

Get ready for Halloween with the 3rd annual Cheyenne Zombiefest. Proceeds raised help support the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players.
