For generations, the Luxury Diner has been feeding hungry patrons in Cheyenne. Founded in 1926, the old train cart has become a familiar fixture on West Lincolnway Avenue. The iconic restaurant will be closed indefinitely after a recent ownership change.

According to employees, the new owners are in the process of remodeling the old diner. However, they don't plan to make any changes to the menu or to the rustic decor that has made the Luxury a local favorite for nearly a century. Workers say the diner is expected to reopen for business within the next few weeks.

That will come as welcome news to locals, where the diner continues to be one of the most popular breakfast spots in town. Based on reviews from the website Trip Advisor, The Luxury Diner is currently ranked 8th out of 155 restaurants in Cheyenne and is the top rated restaurant among those specializing in breakfast.
