Chidren’s Mental Health Awareness Week in Wyoming
Surrounded by green balloons, Governor Matt Mead on Wednesday proclaimed May 6th-12th as Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week in Wyoming .
The effort seeks to raise awareness about the importance of children’s mental health and that positive mental health is essential to a child’s healthy development from birth.
Governor Mead said it is important to educate the public about mental illness and reduce the stigma attached to it.
