City Council To Conduct Special Budget Meeting On June 4th

There will be a Special Meeting of the Governing Body of the City of Cheyenne on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 2101 O’Neil Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming, to reconsider the action taken at the May 28th City Council meeting concerning the proposed Fiscal Year 2014 municipal budget ordinance on second reading.

If reconsideration and approval of the ordinance on second reading occurs at the meeting, a Special Meeting of the City Council’s Committee of the Whole will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers. Purpose of the Committee of the Whole Meeting will be to provide for review and recommendations of the budget ordinance on third reading.

A Public Hearing on the proposed budget will be held during the June 10th regular City Council Meeting, and it is anticipated that the budget ordinance will be acted upon on third and final reading at the meeting, which begins at 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers. All meetings are open to the public. No other business will be conducted at either of the Special Meetings.
