A man accused of killing a woman in a February 2012 three vehicle accident pleaded not guilty last Friday. 32 year old Jason Durkee of Livermore, Colorado allegedly ran a red light at Converse Avenue and Aiport Parkway on February 21, 2012 and hit a car driven by 55 year old Linda Gookin, who died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. After a blood draw, it was determined Durkee tested positive for methamphetamine, and the levels found in his sample would impair his driving. Durkee is charged with one felony count of aggravated homicide by vehicle-driving under the influence and one misemeanor count of dui.  A jury trial is set to start on November 12th.
