Downtown Cheyenne is finally getting a grocery store...sort of. The Albany will soon be selling groceries inside their liquor store.

The recently remodeled storefront will feature several aisles dedicated to produce and fresh food. They plan to introduce the new items in the spring while continuing to sell beer, wine and spirits.

Originally constructed in 1905, the historic building has operated as The Albany Bar since 1942. Downtown Cheyenne hasn't had a grocery store since Safeway closed their Pioneer Avenue location in 2010.
