[/caption]A Rock Springs Fedex  contract driver is accused of stealing almost $9000 worth of equipment and goods, according to a spokesman for the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Department. Dick Blust says the investigation of 22 year old Jayce Chandler Brood began with a report of a computer missing from a Fedex shipment. Blust says a search of Brood’s home and vehicle turned up several thousand dollars worth of items, including such things as a flat screen tv, six apple ipad 2s, several amplifiers, eight boss 1800 speakers, and 12 unopened boxes of coffee, among other things. Brood has been charged with larceny by bailee and wrongful taking  or disposing of property, both felonies carrying a possible ten year prison sentence and a ten thousand dollar fine each. Circuit Court Judge Daniel Forgey on Thursday set Brood’s bail at $7,500 cash or surety.
