A man and woman were taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center this (Monday) morning after a fire destroyed their mobile home.

Laramie County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Captain Linda Gesell says fire crews were called to 3201 South Greeley Highway around 5 a.m.

"We don't know exactly (what caused the fire)," said Gesell. "We're leaning towards it being electrical with the four space heaters that were in there, but we haven't confirmed anything for sure."

Gesell says heat from the fire caused the side of the trailer in the space next to it to melt. The fire also destroyed a vehicle and a shed.

It's unclear at this time how the victims are related, but Gesell says they were the only ones inside the trailer at the time of the fire.

"Until we can pinpoint the cause of the fire, we won't know whether it was intentional or unintentional," said Gesell.
