It's the last weekend of July and that means we're featuring an entire album side on Your Sunday Brunch.

Guitarist Peter Frampton will play at the Hudson Gardens and Event Center on August 21 in Littleton, Colorado so thought we'd help you get ready for the show.

This weekend our Album Side Sunday will be the first four tracks from "Frampton Comes Alive!." After it's release in 1976, it sold 6 million copies, making it the biggest selling live album at the time. It's been 35 years now and it's still listed as the 4th biggest live album ever.

Rolling Stone readers voted it "Album of the Year" for 1976. It stayed at number one on the Billboard 200 chart for 10 weeks and remained in the top 200 for 97 weeks.

Most of the album was recorded at the Winterland Arena in San Francisco in 1975 with some songs from the Long Island Arena in New York.

Here are the songs we'll be playing on Your Sunday Brunch from the first side of the double live album:

  1. Something's Happening
  2. Doobie Wah
  3. Show Me the Way
  4. It's a Plain Shame

I invite you to join me for this tasty treat at the beginning of the eight o'clock hour on Sunday morning.
