Gooding Playing Financial Literacy Concert at LCCC September 5 [AUDIO]

Are you going to the free concert in the LCCC student lounge on Friday at noon?

Gooding, the rock band from Kansas, will play a Financial Literacy show in the Laramie County Community College student lounge starting at 12 p.m. on Friday, September 5.

The band will perform for students, the show's also open to the public, then they'll share experiences about dealing with money problems. They point out that many rock stars and actors have gone bankrupt due to mismanagement of their funds.

Gooding, now based in Los Angeles, started their fall Financial Literacy Tour in Greybull earlier this week, playing for high school students. They will return to Cheyenne for a gig at The Midtown Tavern, 1303 E. Pershing Blvd., on Friday, October 24.

The band became a foursome last year when they added singer and guitarist Jenny Wood, who's also from Wichita. The four friends from Kansas released 'We are the Dark Stars' earlier this year.
