Governor Matt Mead has selected Antoinette L.M. Williams-Healy as the new Circuit Court Judge for the First Judicial District in Laramie County.

Williams-Healy replaced replaces Judge Roberta Coates who is retiring.

During her career ‘Toni’ has prosecuted tough criminal cases including those dealing with crimes against children. I know she has the expertise and professionalism to perform her duties with integrity, Governor Mead said.

Williams-Healy is a graduate of University of South Dakota law school. She served as Deputy County and Prosecuting Attorney in Sheridan County and currently serves as the Chief Deputy District Attorney for the First Judicial District in Laramie County. Additionally, Williams-Healy was a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Wyoming.

I am deeply honored by the trust and confidence Governor Mead and the Judicial Nominating Commission have shown in me. I sincerely appreciate all who have supported me professionally and personally through this process, and all of the judges in Laramie County who have set such a fine example for me,” Williams-Healy said.
