The Wyoming House of Representatives has approved money for cost of living raises for Wyoming teachers.

The house voted 37-22 Tuesday to include and $8.5 million cost  adjustment to education to allow for cost of living raises for k-12 professionals. The amendment was added as the supplemental budget bill passed on the second of three readings Tuesday

But unless the Senate approves a similar change to it's budget bill  on Thursday, it remains to be seen whether the money will be included in the final supplemental budget bill to come out of the legislature.

A conference committee will have to hammer out any differences between the two budgets.

Third and final reading on the budget bills in both houses is slated for Thursday.
