Hundreds of Colorado high schoolers are on their way to Wyoming for eclipse weekend.

They'll join the tens of thousands of motorists attempting to trek northbound on I-25 this weekend to get a glimpse at what is for many, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

One group highlighted from Denver's Cherry Creek High School are hopeful they'll get into the 70-mile-wide path of totality near Casper.

Denver 7, the ABC TV affiliate, caught up with some of those students and one teacher at Cherry Creek High School.
