Jack Kerouac’s ‘On The Road’ Gets Modern Movie Makeover [VIDEO]

Have you read Jack Kerouac's novel 'On The Road'?
If you haven't, you might want to check it out this Summer before the movie comes out in the Fall.

You'll know some of the cast in Walter Salles' film, Garrett Hedlund plays Dean Moriarty (Kerouac's character based on his friend Neal Cassady), Kristen Stewart plays his girlfriend Marylou, Kirsten Dunst is Camille and Sam Riley takes on Kerouac's character Sal Paradise.

The cast also includes Amy Adams, Elisabeth Moss and Viggo Mortensen.

Part of Sal Paradise's adventures in 'On The Road' take place in Cheyenne during Frontier Days. He also travels through Denver so you'll recognize some of the locations if the movie follows the book.

The film will have it's World Premiere later this month at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
