The good the internet can do shines in this story. A kid only had junk mail to read, so hundreds of people mailed him books.

A 12-year-old Salt Lake City kid asked his mailman if he had extra junk mail he could read because his parents couldn't afford to buy him books. He also could not afford a bus pass to get to the library. So the mailman posted about it on Facebook, and people from as far away as India have sent him HUNDREDS of books to read. The kid didn’t want electronic gadgets or toys, he wanted to read. He is ecstatic.

If your kids need to learn to read, The Laramie County Library has themed storytime sessions that help children learn to and improve their skills in Super Storytime sessions between 10:15 and 10:45 this morning (Wednesday, July 29, 2015) in The Storytime room at 2200 Pioneer Avenuein Cheyenne.
