3/4 of all Americans likely road trip before the unofficial end of summer, Labor Day weekend, one of the busiest travel times of the year. AAA says nearly 35 million Americans will drive at least 50 miles from home, with 86% going by car.

Gas prices dropped nationally through July, and now, drivers will see the cheapest prices at the pump this Labor Day since 2010 except for a few places, like Wyoming.

The national average for a gallon of unleaded regular is currently $3.43, compared to Wyoming’s average of $3.61.

According to GasBuddy.com, the best gas price in Cheyenne is at the Corner Store at I-80 & South Greeley Highway at $3.45 and Sam’s Club in second place at $3.46 per gallon.

If you insist on paying more, The Dell Range Cenex, Ridge Road Kum & Go, and Little America will be happy to hit you for $3.59 per gallon.
