Laramie County School District#1 has decided to remove the "interim" from Superintendent John Lyttle's title.

Trustees on Thursday voted to offer Lyttle the job on a permanent basis.

Lyttle had been serving as interim Superintendent ever since former Superintendent Mark Stock left to take a job with the University of Wyoming last summer.

Lyttle had previously served as an assistant Superintendent with LCSD#1 for 15 years. Exact details of Lyttle's contract have yet to be worked out, but is widely expected to be a two year agreement..
