There are some downsides to lower gas prices, especially here in an energy producing state, but as a motorist in love with the open road, I love these price drops. Heck, some times it’s just nice to have some money left over for groceries and rent after a fill up.

Getting the most for your hard earned dollars is easier in Cheyenne at Sapp Bros. 12500 I-80 Service Road and US 30, where a gallon of regular will cost you $1.81. The Dell Range Cenex thinks theirs is worth $2.19 a gallon, making it the most expensive in Cheyenne, according to GasBuddy.com.

In Casper, the most expensive is the Riverbend Shell at $2.62 a gallon. I don’t know if that comes with a massage or a mani-pedicure with a fill-up or not, but it should. The Oil City’s cheapest gas is from the pumps at Sam’s Club for $2.27.
